About Me
Hey there, thanks for stopping by! My name is Alec Kintigh. I am a Minnesota native and graduate from St. Cloud State University. Go Huskies! During my time there I studied Film and TV. After graduating in 2016 I have been able to acquire experience doing it all — shooting, editing, producing, directing, drone flying, and especially coffee running. I have been lucky enough to be a part of teams that have been recognized with multiple Upper Midwest Emmys and Telly awards.
Growing up an only child, I have surrounded myself with amazing friends and continue to do so today. When I’m not with friends or family, you can find me clocking miles on my bike exploring new or familiar places. Obviously the camera comes along for the ride as well. Having a family full of artists, I’ve had plenty of creativity and inspiration around me since I can remember.

The Fam
These two people are responsible for the person I am today. I was born in Austin, TX and they decided to move up to the cold tundra that is Minnesota before I was old enough to object.
Thanks for bringing me into this crazy world.
This is my mom, Kelly. She is generous, smart, caring, and funny…mostly unintentionally. Nice to her core, but she is a born and raised Minnesotan, so “MN nice” runs in her veins. She is effortlessly selfless and gives me way too much credit as her son; she would be proud of me even if I lived under a bridge.
I can’t thank her enough for teaching me to clean up after myself, to be polite to others, and how to use a toilet.
Love you, Mom.
This is my dad, Richard. He passed away in 2012. He was a kind and sociable person. He could chat with anyone. He was also a damn fine cook.
His nickname in his Indiana University days was ‘Ruby’. You could always tell what period of his life people were from whether they would call him Dick (family, childhood friends), Ruby (college friends) or Richard (post VW bus, hippy days). He always taught me to go after what I wanted, and to always treat everyone with respect.
I use a ruby as my logo to honor him.

Oakley
Nicknames: Buddy, Oak-Man, Big-Boi
He is a golden doodle and certified good boy. He primarily lives with my Mom but I still consider him my dog. I sometimes steal him for a weekend or two. He enjoys walks, the dog park, meeting new people, watching TV — literally anything that involves his people. Surprisingly a picky eater though.
Lola
Nicknames: Sweet Pea, Sweet Baby Angel, bb
She is a rescue from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Even though her Spanish is a bit spotty, she’s definitely chatty. She’s a bit skittish, but slowly warming up to me and even Oakley. She enjoys naps, a quiet house, head scratches, NBA basketball, and more naps.
